Ray
was educated at Pooraka Primary
School and Enfield High School, and undertook tertiary studies through
the Department of
Further Education and Macquarie University. He qualified with a Diploma
in Financial
Planning.
Ray
has been involved with the following:

Australian Institute of Credit
Management;
Australian Financial Planning
Association;
Member of the Adelaide Club.
He has served as a
Justice of the Peace for
South Australia for over 32 years.
Past National Board Member of
Associated Planners Ltd for 15 years.

Chairman of the board of Royal Society for the Blind and a board member
for 14 years.
A Rotarian for 20 years, he was President of the
Rotary Club of
Adelaide in 2001.
Ray's business Interests include local and interstate
property management, rural interests in the Fleurieu
Peninsula, and Board positions, voluntary and
remunerated.
His personal interests include fishing in
Backstairs Passage, golf and membership in the
Cape Jervis Brigade of the Country Fire Service.
Masonic History:
Ray was
Initiated in Croydon Lodge No. 140 on March 15th
1977, Passed in July 1977 and Raised February 21st
1978.
He was Installed as
Master of Croydon Lodge October 1981, and as Master of Earl of Zetland
October 1994.
Member, United Service Mark
Lodge.
Member, Parkside
Holdfast, St Alban Collegiate and Earl of Zetland Royal Arch Chapters
Past Chairman of Masonic Homes Inc and a
past Board Member for 13 years.
Current Board Member of the Freemasons Foundation.
